The coin’s reverse portrays a majestic mare alongside her young foal, both depicted with elegant manes in a striking galloping stance. The pair mirrors one another’s charm in a face-to-face interaction. The background includes towering mountains and the lush serenity of grasslands. Also included in the design is the Chinese character for ‘Horse’, the inscription ‘HORSE 2026’, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The coin’s obverse bears the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as the weight, fineness, and the monetary denomination.
